BEAR
CANYON
Fishing is slow for all species.
BILL EVANS LAKE There were no reports
from anglers this week.
BURN LAKE Fishing is slow for all
species.
CABALLO LAKE Water levels have stabilized.
Fishing is slow for all species. Fishing pressure is extremely
light.
ELEPHANT BUTTE Bank fishing is good
using dead shad for catfish and striped bass. A few of the stripers
taken from the bank were in the 15-to-25 pound class and taken
in less than 10 feet of water. Fishing from boats is good using
live bait, jigs and jigging spoons for striped bass. Fishing is
fair-to-good using tubes, senkos, grubs and salt craws for black
bass. A few are also being taken on spinner baits. There were
no reports on other species.
ESCONDIDA LAKE Fishing is slow for
all species.
GILA RIVER Water flow near the town
of Gila is 52cfs. Fishing on the Gila Forks is fair using bead
head wooly buggers for smallmouth bass.
GLENWOOD POND There were no reports
from anglers this week.
LAKE ROBERTS Fishing is slow-to-fair
using power bait and salmon eggs for trout.
PERCHA DAM Fishing is slow for all
species.
QUEMADO LAKE Fishing is slow-to-fair
using bead head wooly buggers, power bait and salmon eggs for
trout.
RIO GRANDE Water flow below Elephant
Butte is 13cfs. Fishing is slow for all species.
SNOW LAKE Fishing is slow-to-fair
using salmon eggs and power bait for trout.

Fishing is slow for all species.
BILL EVANS LAKE Fishing is fair using
worms for a few catfish, bluegill and small bass. There were no
reports on other species.
BURN LAKE Fishing is slow for all species.
CABALLO LAKE Fishing is generally slow
for all species. A few catfish are being taken on liver, shrimp,
blood bait and night crawlers. A few white bass and walleye are
being taken on crank baits trolled along the east side of the
lake.
ELEPHANT BUTTE Fishing for all species
has slowed considerably. A few striped bass and white bass are
being taken on live bait. A few black bass and catfish are being
taken on tubes, senkos and salt craws.

all species
GILA RIVER Water flow near the town
of Gila is 55cfs. Fishing is slow for all species.
GLENWOOD POND The pond has been recently
stocked so fishing should be good. Power bait seems to be the
bait of choice at this facility.
LAKE ROBERTS There were no reports
from anglers this week.
PERCHA DAM Fishing is slow for all
species.
QUEMADO LAKE Fishing is slow-to-fair
using power bait, salmon eggs, wooly buggers and prop flies for
stocked trout.
RIO GRANDE Water flow below Elephant
Butte is 354cfs. Fishing is slow for all species
SNOW LAKE Fishing is slow.
